2014 is coming to an end and it is time to reflect on the year I’ve had and look forward to what is to come in 2015. I have already listed the 10 things I kicked ass at in 2014, so it comes the time to think about my mistakes and the things I could…
Why I Enjoy Going to CES So Much
It is getting to be that time of year again, where I gear up to travel to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show. I cover CES for ThinkComputers as it is the premier event in North America to go to for technology. I posted a Facebook status about going and someone commented and actually…
10 Things I Kicked Ass at in 2014
Well December means it is the month of lists. I have already gone over how I thought my year went, but I figured I would give you the list of 10 things I kicked ass this year, before I list the 10 things I could have done better. It is always good to see progress…
The #1 Reason Why You Don’t Do What I Do
I have been thinking about all of the people who have said to me, “I would love to do what you do”, but for some reason they are not doing it. I am going to tell you the #1 reason you are not doing what I do and it may make you upset. Here it…
How Did 2014 Go For Me?
Looking back at my 10 Things I Could Have Done Better in 2013 post I am seeing that I was able to accomplish many of the things on the list and it turned out to be a much better year for me. Let’s cover a couple and see what I did to take them happen!
Celebrating 15 Years of Glow with New World Punx
The night before Thanksgiving I went to one of the best EDM shows of my life. Club Glow was celebrating their 15th birthday and what better way to do it than to have New World Punx come and play for an open to close set (9PM – 4AM). Club Glow runs EDM and Dance events in Washington, DC and has been doing so for 15 years. My first EDM even was actually a Club Glow event back in 2006!
Things I am Thankful for in 2014
I had meant to get this post up on Thanksgiving, but I have been traveling over the holiday so I am only getting it up today! Thanksgiving is not only a time to eat food and get together with family, but it is also time to reflect and think about things we are thankful for. Here are some of the things I’ve been thankful for this year in no particular order.

A Weekend In DC
A couple of weeks ago my friends and I decided to take a road trip down to Washington, DC. We all planned on going to see DVBBS at Echostage, but it was also a chance to see two of our friends who recently moved down there. DC is about a 4-4.5 hour drive from Pittsburgh….
Panera Get Your Act Together…
I am a pretty big fan of Panera Bread, their food is really good and somewhat healthy. Much better to eat there than go to a fast food place. I usually go there to spend the day working, mostly writing reviews for ThinkComuters or blog posts like this one. It is great to get out…

If you are like me your phone is with you at all times. I am using an iPhone 5s as my main phone and it actually keeps me pretty productive and able to keep updated with what is going on with all of my friends. I wanted to go through some of the apps I…
Lounge 5280 at the Denver Airport
On my recent trip out to Silicon Valley I connected both ways at the Denver International Airport and had lengthy layovers both ways. The first time through I noticed a cool looking bar called Lounge 5280. Since it was early in the morning and I did not feel like I drink I did not stop…
Staying at Aloft Silicon Valley
Last month I had the chance to stay at an Aloft hotel. Aloft is Starwood’s boutique hotel chain. These hotels are actually pretty cool and offer a unique atmosphere. I actually first heard of them when they made a custom playlist for Spotify a year or so ago. Since then I’ve always wanted to check…
Summer 2014 Highlights
Well as you may have noticed I have not blogged in a while. I only really published 1 post a month for the entire summer. I hope that changes soon, but I wanted to recap some of my summer for all who are interested. I should have made posts these things as they were happening,…
