If you haven’t noticed I’ve given the blog a little face-lift! While I really loved my previous design, I had been using it for a very long time and it just seemed dated. I also wanted something with a little more functionality and worked better with social media sharing. So what you see now is the new layout and I am very happy with it!
How Having an E-mail Newsletter Has Helped My Blogging
Lately though, I’ve been keeping up with it pretty well. One of the main reasons for this is because I have started an e-mail newsletter. I was never really sold on the e-mail newsletter idea, but last year I started a weekly e-mail newsletter for ThinkComputers and I recently decided to have one for the blog too.
Stand Out with Your Own Personal Brand
I’ve always been a big proponent of having a personal brand. In plain terms your personal brand is what people know you for. Think about that for a second, what are you known for? I would assume when people think about me they know I’m the guy who runs ThinkComputers, takes photos of what he eats and maybe even a guy who gives good advice about running an online business. There are many platforms for building your own personal brand, which we will get into in a second, but why should you waste time building your personal brand?

February 2010 Thoughts
2010 is sure going by very quickly! It is already March and it seems like it was just the new year not that long ago! This month hasn’t been the best here is Pittsburgh as we’ve had some of the worst snow storms in recent memory as you could tell from my Snowed In post. I was extremely busy working on a new project and ThinkComputers last month so I was only able to write 6 posts, my favorite out of them would have to be the Things I love about Pittsburgh
