The night before Thanksgiving I went to one of the best EDM shows of my life. Club Glow was celebrating their 15th birthday and what better way to do it than to have New World Punx come and play for an open to close set (9PM – 4AM). Club Glow runs EDM and Dance events in Washington, DC and has been doing so for 15 years. My first EDM even was actually a Club Glow event back in 2006!
New World Punx is the duo of Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten. They are both big time DJs themselves, but they play together maybe a handful of times each year and when they do they call themselves New World Punx. I actually saw them last year. New World Punx actually formed at Echostage in DC so having them come back and play together to celebrate 15 years of Club Glow is pretty special. What makes it even more special is that it was an open to close set, so no openers, no house DJ, just Markus and Ferry. Also that long of a set is great for Trance artists like them because it is really hard to have a true trance set in just 2 hours. Anyways here are some videos I took from the show, enjoy!
You can check out the rest of the videos I took on my YouTube page! Also if you want to listen to the full set check out these two links: Part 1 & Part 2.
