It has been a while since I talked about a concert or show here on the blog. Well this past weekend I went down to Washington, DC to see Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz. When they play together they call themselves the New World Punx. I have been into Trance music for over 10 years and both Ferry and Markus are both legends so being able to see both of them was a real treat.

I drove down to DC with my friends Jordan and Mike, who both are really into Trance and electronic music. I had never been to Echostage and it is the perfect venue for a show like this.

Ferry and Markus played from 12AM – 4AM and it was an epic show. With all of the new types of electronic music becoming popular it is good to see DJs still being loyal to trance and playing an all trance set.

This was one of the best shows that I had been to in a long time and if New World Punx is playing anywhere around you I would definitely suggest going to see them!
